Although the Sturgeon Moon (full moon in August) was originally coined for Lake Sturgeon, we thought we would try our luck early with the still cool (relatively anyway) river temperatures. Luckily for us, we were able to tag nine Gulf Sturgeon over a two day period and were also able to meet several new people curious about Gulf Sturgeon recovery in the Pascagoula River.
