We just completed our Spring season download of receivers in Pascagoula River and saw that the float-line of one of our receivers had broken free of the swivel. Luckily, we believe in redundancy so that our receiver (and all of its data) was not lost. This particular location is approximately 4 rkm from the largest summer holding habitat of Gulf Sturgeon on the Pascagoula River. Always a bit nerve racking tossing out the equipment and hoping it lasts until the next download!
